    Unfortunately, you can't get all the way there because everything is cordoned off. The Castello Alfonsino (also Castel Rosso after the color of the Carparo blocks from which it was built, or Castello di Mare) is a coastal fortress on the Isola di Sant'Andrea at the entrance to the port of Brindisi in the Italian region of Apulia. The fortress with the Forte a Mare (or Forte di Brindisi, the construction of which took a good 46 years in 1558 under the reign of King Philip II of Spain, the son of King Charles V.
