    A church described in 1464 burned down in 1664. Only the choir tower from 1492 remained. In 1666 the church was rebuilt by the Teutonic Order, which held the church's patronage. The three floors of the choir tower on a square plan were extended by an octagonal floor with pilaster strips at the corners, which houses the tower clock and the bell cage, and covered with a tent roof on which a bulbous lantern sits. The nave was demolished in 1972 and a church building in the modern architectural style was built in its place, which was inaugurated on June 8, 1974.
