The Protestant church in Guntershausen was consecrated in 1912. Before that, there was a small late Gothic chapel here, the portal of which was integrated into the surrounding wall of the current church. This chapel was mentioned in 1495, but was too small and in need of repair at the beginning of the 20th century. The organ in the current church also comes from the chapel.
