Nybster Broch – Pictish history on a cliff edge
A dramatic Iron Age settlement on a steep cliff overlooking the North Sea, just south of John O’Groats. This broch – a circular stone dwelling tower – is part of a larger complex of dwellings and passages, possibly reused by the Picts.
