Castles usually have a lord of the manor. But not Christinehof Castle, which had an influential landlady! The Golden Baroque Palace was built in 1741 by Countess Christina Piper, one of the most successful entrepreneurs of her time. Today Christinehof is a cultural palace run by the cultural association Christina's Wänner. It offers a rich selection of narrative tours, exhibitions and lectures that focus on the creator of the castle. Christinehof is located in an eco-park with short and long hiking trails.
