Max Slevogt often came here from his nearby estate to enjoy the beautiful tranquility and spectacular views.
In his honor, the rock got the name "Slevogtfelsen", an inscription carved into the stone commemorates the great impressionist. The Slevogt rock is also known under the name Föhrlenbergfels. Here you have a wonderful view of the castle ruins Trifels, Anebos and Scharfenberg (Münz).

From Slevogt rock you have a great view of the 3 castles Anebos, Münz and Trifels; particularly impressive when the sun goes down behind the castles.
The bank invites you to linger.
