According to the plaque, this is the oldest plane tree planted in the square, on the other side of the palace there is another old plane tree, but that one is in a slightly worse condition, and the one here is some massive mountain - respect!

At the western corner of the palace grows a huge maple-leaf plane tree with a plaque - that it is the first plane tree planted in Poland in 1770. It is not the oldest plane tree in Poland, but it may be the first planted in the Kingdom of Poland.
The plane tree in Nieborów is not the only such old representative of the species in Poland. In Chojna (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) grows the "Giant", and in Dobrzyca (Greater Poland Voivodeship) - the "Constitutional".
