Until 2001, it was called rondo Babka, named in the 1950s due to the shape of the earth embankment. Despite the official name change in honor of the AK Group „Radosław”, which fought in the Warsaw Uprising, the old name is still used, e.g., in the name of the nearby Babka Tower complex.
