    Road cycling

    Beautiful tarmac, gruelling hills. Some say it's easier North to South, whilst others prefer the grueling gradient of Deliverance... Whichever way you go, you've still got a long ride home.
    Take care - there are some sharp turns at the bottom of those descents.

    Road cycling

    I 'did' the Strines as part of an epic trip from Manchester including Snake Pass, The Strines and Holme Moss. The Strines was without question the highlight. Tarmac to die for, undulating, twisting and some sharp climbs in excess of 30%. But don't let that put you off as they are relatively short and lots of flats to recover. I thought I was in the alps for a while, it's that good. Shame it's so far away from Cheshire!!
