A splendid naturalistic environment designed by the confluence of the Adda river into the Po, an uncontaminated setting in the Lombard countryside. The exact point of confluence of the two rivers is easily reachable thanks, in the final part, from a farm road immersed in an elderberry forest. The Po appears placid and sandy (the Isola Serafini dam eliminates any visible waste residue) while the Adda river often arrives impetuous, mixing its darker waters with the lighter ones of the Po.
