Fragments of the Warsaw ghetto walls are preserved sections of the fences that once marked the borders of the Warsaw ghetto. These walls were built after November 16, 1940, when the German occupiers established the border between the ghetto and the "Aryan" part of the city. Some of these walls are located between properties or are the remains of pre-war buildings. Today, they are one of the few material witnesses to the tragic history of World War II and the repressions that affected Warsaw Jews. The preserved fragments are a memory of the brutal isolation and persecution of the Jewish population during the German occupation.

Okopowa Street 78 - a preserved fragment of the wall surrounding the buildings of the Temler i Szwede Garment Factory (from the side of the gas station on Stawki Street, opposite the exit of Smocza Street) was also the ghetto wall throughout the existence of the closed district.

Fragment of the original Warsaw Ghetto wall at the Jewish cemetery on Okopowa Street.

Information board and a very suggestive 3D cast map.
