Hiking
The Central University Library building is one of the most beautiful cultural institutions in Bucharest and was founded on May 3, 1891 as the “Carol I University Foundation”. Construction was completed in 1893. During the 1989 revolution, the building was set on fire, resulting in the loss of an important collection of rare books. The reconstruction and modernization of the library began in April 1990 under the auspices of UNESCO.
