Hiking
The Dellstedter Birkwildmoor is one of the most important raised bogs in the Eider-Treene-Sorge lowland. To protect this unique natural space, it was already designated as a nature reserve in 1957. The black grouse that lived here is still extinct today.
Nevertheless, the moor is a fantastic habitat for a variety of marsh and seabirds. The otter also feels comfortable here.

Hiking
Nice moor but good footwear is necessary because it is really muddy and muddy on the section after the observation tower. But you are there all alone with the bird world. But later I was happy to have solid ground under my feet again.
