The Burgstall Ebermannstadt is an abandoned medieval tower mound (Motte). The castle was one of the most powerful tower hill fortifications known.
The former castle complex from the 11th century has a hill plateau with a diameter of over 30 meters and is completely enclosed by the 120 × 100 meter forecourt. The planed oval five meter high core mound (tower hill) is surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped outer wall at a distance of 22 meters.
