The Norman cloister of Lipari is part of the Benedictine monastery complex, the first in Sicily. Built together with the church according to Cluniac Benedictine models, with the church facing north and the cloister facing south. Access is via the cathedral and the visit costs €1. You can see parts of the ancient floor, columns with Norman and Roman capitals depicting mythological animals and fragments of frescoes.
