Beautiful cycle path through a plant tunnel. The path is a bit narrow and bumpy in places and should have been widened a long time ago, but Göttingen has no staff or money, the funding has since expired and the city is not making any effort to support the project. The other opponents fear for the beautiful character of the path, but the initial widening work showed that the character will largely be preserved. We will see whether anything changes in the next few years, and in the meantime you can enjoy the path as it is.
