Hiking

This ranger station is the ideal starting point for hikes into the little bit of jungle that was not destroyed by the flames. There is a lot of greenery, plenty of shade, running water and toilets. If you want to camp overnight with a tent, register in advance at simplifica.madeira.gov.pt/services/8-25-101. The car is parked at the top of the road.
