The Sky Bridge in Sohland is located directly on the Spreeradweg. Also nice is the reservoir, which is right next to it.

The Himmelsbrücke is a brick arch bridge over the Sohlander Dorfbach in Sohland on the Spree in the district of Bautzen. It is considered a symbol of the municipality of Sohland. Until 1947 it led across the Spree.

The single-arch bridge made of granite stones, known as the Himmelsbrücke because of its steeply rising shape, leads at the western foot of the Frühlingsberg over the Sohlander Dorfbach. One keystone bears the inscription "SoliDe o Gloria", which was incorrectly separated for reasons of space, the other the year 1796.

The narrow bridge, which used to be used by carts, is now only permitted for pedestrians. It is protected as a cultural monument. The Oberlausitzer Bergweg and the Spreeradweg lead past the Himmelsbrücke.

The dialect poet Hermann Klippel dedicated the poem De Himmelsbrücke to the bridge.

The bridge was built in 1796 at the Weißen Mühle on the Kirchsteig from Wendischsohland to Mittelsohland as a crossing over the Spree and replaced a wooden bridge that has been documented since 1709.

In 1876 the bridge was chosen as the motif for the seal and the municipal coat of arms of the newly formed municipality of Sohland. Since the regulation of the Spree in 1947, the Himmelsbrücke has crossed the Sohlander Dorfbach.

The bridge looks much older than it actually is
