The church is a plastered fieldstone building consisting of a rectangular hall with a three-sided east end and a square west tower with a curved hood and lantern from around 1700. Repair and restoration work was carried out in the years 1990-1994.

The preserved baroque furnishings of the interior are noteworthy. A wooden flat ceiling with baroque paintings by Michael Adolf Siebenhaar from 1704 completes the interior. Three octagonal panels with symbols of Christ, angels and clouds are framed by acanthus tendrils. Angels blowing trumpets are depicted in the spandrel-like side panels. A horseshoe gallery with scenes from biblical history in the parapet panels has been built in; it was widened to the east in the 20th century.

The main piece of the uniformly baroque furnishings is an altarpiece, which shows a painting of the crucifixion above the predella with the Last Supper depiction, flanked by twisted columns wrapped in vine leaves and lush acanthus tendrils. The resurrection is painted in the top and framed by palm columns and acanthus. A small painting shows the miracle of Pentecost as the crowning touch. The wooden pulpit rests on a palm column. The polygonal basket is structured with twisted corner columns, and the symbols of the evangelists are depicted in the parapet panels. Baroque carved figures depicting the Virgin Mary and two female saints are attached to the north wall, as well as two small late Gothic carved figures from around 1480. Several Baroque gravestones are placed on the southern outer wall.

The organ is believed to have been built in the early 20th century.[1]

The two bells in the tower were cast in 1520 and 1723.
