There is a beautiful sculpture at this point.
So that the milkmaids could milk their cows on the opposite side of the Weser, they crossed the Weser in rowing boats to milk the cows three times a day. Milking and transporting the heavy milk cans was strenuous work.
Up until the end of the 1950s, the milkmaids from Baden still did this physically demanding work. This bronze sculpture is a monument to them.
