The Tjeukemeer, also called Tsjûkemar, is the largest inland lake in Friesland and offers a beautiful view over the water and the surrounding nature. The lake is 23.42 km² in size and is surrounded by picturesque villages such as Delfstrahuizen and Echten. The islands Tsjûkepolle, Marchjepolle and Ganzetippe are located in the Tjeukemeer, which together form a unique attraction.
