The Baerler bush is a heath forest. Typical of the sandy soil are oaks, vinegar trees and rubies. In addition to the forest, Lohheider Lake in the north and Waldsee in the south are also part of the Baerler Busch. Several cycling and hiking trails run through the area.

Dear Baerler Busch is an excellent playground for hikers as well as cyclists and mountain bikers. Unfortunately, some beautiful trail sections of the "tree care" have fallen victim since the last season. Nevertheless, the area around the Loheider Lake and the heap Rheinpreussen still big enough to make nice rounds.
