The priest Heinrich Sommer founded the Josefs-Gesellschaft in 1904. The founders had set themselves the task of improving the living conditions of young people with physical disabilities. Above all through vocational training.

This founding idea is even more influential today in entrepreneurial activities to enable people with disabilities to integrate into the job market. The JOSEFS brewery was opened under the umbrella of the Josefs-Gesellschaft in 2000. Heinrich Sommer's face still adorns our beer labels today.

The good cause and the good beer - a product that is unique in Germany. It is hardly easier to do something good that tastes so good. JOSEFS - drink good things. Do good things!
