Lake Auronzo, or Lake Santa Caterina, is an artificial lake located in the municipality of Auronzo di Cadore, in the province of Belluno. Created in 1932 by the construction of a dam on the Ansiei River, it has a surface area of 0.49 km² and a maximum depth of 49.1 meters. The name "Santa Caterina" comes from the 16th century chapel located near the dam. Today it is a recreational site for activities such as rowing and canoeing-kayaking.
