The Paseo de la Explanada, also known as the Explanada de España, is a famous promenade in the city of Alicante. It runs parallel to the port, from the Puerta del Mar to the Parque de Canalejas. It is one of the most popular pedestrian walkways in the city and is known for its characteristic wavy marble pavement, made up of millions of tiles in red, cream and black tones.
