Palácio de São Miguel

In a large courtyard ("Patio de Sao Miguel") behind the cathedral and close to the magnificent church of São João Evangelista and the Temple of Diana, you will find the Sao Miguel Palace with several interesting buildings. The rooms (from the kitchen to the magnificent living room) are furnished in the old style, with great attention to detail and extensively, with lavishly designed walls and, above all, ceilings, making for an interesting and enjoyable visit.Together with the other cultural monuments mentioned, as well as the park and the cafés and the views of the rest of the old town, the hill is certainly one of the most beautiful "corners" of Évora!
