With an output of around 432 MW, the entire project is one of the largest wind farms in the Netherlands. The site has very high wind speeds of over 9 m/s on average per year. The expected annual electricity production, the so-called standard operating capacity, is around 1.4 billion kWh, which, according to the operator, corresponds to the electricity consumption of more than 400,000 Dutch households.[2]
