The former fishing village of Torbole sul Garda is located at the northern tip of Lake Garda in the Italian province of Trento (Trentino-South Tyrol region). With the towns of Nago and Tempesta, which also belong to the municipality of Torbole-Nago, the municipality now has around 3,000 inhabitants, 900 of whom live in Torbole. In the western part of Torbole, the river Sarca flows into Lake Garda, which is the main source of water. Torbole is very popular with surfers and sailors, especially because of its constant winds.
