The Warnemünde beach promenade is popular with walkers at any time of year: For approximately two kilometers, the promenade takes young and old past sophisticated beach villas and wide sand dunes. To the east, the promenade is bordered by the Teepott (Teepott Island) and the Baltic Sea resort's most famous landmark – the Warnemünde Lighthouse – while at its western end, it flows into the coastal forest. Cars and cyclists are not permitted on the promenade – but skateboarders, inline skaters, and, of course, tricycle and scooter riders enjoy whizzing across the smooth stone slabs...
