Tips
The Heider Bergsse is one of the Ville lakes: it was created at the end of the opencast lignite mining in the mid-1930s. The residual holes of the opencast mines slowly filled with water as the groundwater rose again. The Heider Bergsee campsite is located directly on the lake and offers a lido (swimming pool operation) and parking spaces as well as a restaurant.
