This beautiful sculpture fountain is located directly opposite the station building. Next to it is a flower clock and very close to it is an artificial Christmas tree (made of wood) decorated with fairy tale pictures.

Hiking

One of the attractions of the Vogtland Easter Trail in Wünschendorf is this fountain opposite the train station. Many squares, including the community garden, are lovingly decorated for Easter by the Wünschendorf/Elster and Surrounding Area Local History and Beautification Association and its volunteers as part of the Easter Trail. As the gateway to the Elster Valley, Wünschendorf is an ideal starting point for exploring this unique river landscape with its diverse flora and fauna, especially for rail travelers arriving here.
