Nestled in lush greenery, Morimont Castle was first mentioned in 1183 and controlled the upper Largue valley. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War by French troops.
The site is currently closed to the public due to work. You will nevertheless be able to tour the ruins and see the interior of the castle and its vaulted cellar through the gates.
