The Leijgraaf or Leigraaf is a stream in the east of North Brabant. The Leijgraaf is not a natural stream, but was originally a damp depression. Old names for that depression included 'de Meer' or 'De Jeucke'. After excavation, the general name became Leijgraaf, literally a guided dug loop.
