Volubro Lake, a small lake of karst origin which is located a short distance from Acuto in an uncontaminated environment surrounded by vegetation whose characteristics are expertly described on the wooden noticeboards placed around it.
The lake was formed inside a sinkhole, a depression in the ground in the shape of a bowl or funnel at the bottom of which the red, clayey and therefore waterproof earth tends to accumulate.
