The cross, which is an exact replica of the one standing on Giewont, is set on the slopes of Rabska Góra (783 m above sea level). It was consecrated on Good Friday in 2000 by the then auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Krakow, Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz.
