In this area, at the former "Iron Fence", nature is still very pristine. The Cold Moldau, one of the two source rivers, also flows here. On the Czech side, a train travels towards the Moldau Reservoir, among other places, and in high season even has special carriages just for bicycles. On the German side, there is a connection to the three-seat bus line 606 with a bicycle trailer (links see radgebiet-donau-moldau.de). In the border area, a watchtower with a fence is a reminder of the Cold War.
