The first church in Beuren was probably built before 1200. This was followed by the construction of a church in 1414, which was built in the Gothic style. Over 400 years later, between 1835 and 1837, the current parish church was built according to plans by the Trier municipal architect Johann Baptist Bingler in predominantly classicist forms. However, only parts of the classicist furnishings remain, including the pulpit and the confessionals. The neo-Romanesque high altar was made in 1905 together with the side altars. The right side altar dedicated to Wendalinus has been preserved, the left side altar was replaced by the Hochwaldmadonna carved by the sculptor Peter Stammen in 1948.The stained glass windows with biblical scenic depictions were made in 1905 by the Binsfeld company from Trier. The parish church is one of the typical churches designed by Johann Baptist Bingler in the Trier region based on a similar concept, such as the one found in Kell am See. They transfer the baroque, local chapel type into a larger, classicist form with a dominating effect on the townscape.
