The Jost Heritage House (1787) was once the home of a prominent merchant and shows life in a wooden house over the course of three centuries. The museum offers exhibits on local marine life, Cape Breton history and a reconstructed pharmacy. A gift shop is on site with small antiques and collectibles as well as a variety of other souvenir items. You can take part in a guided tour that is highly recommended due to the dedication of the museum staff!
