      Station 5 Hof Göhner/Hörmann

The farm has a short history under the name Göhner. The name Göhner comes from Westerenger and only came to the farm when the family married into the farm. In the land register of the county of Ravensberg from 1556, the following is written about the farm:

"Ludeke Hordemann is a half-penny, belonging to my lord with his wife and children. House and farm and a garrison of three bushels of rye. There are also two groschen of rye in the church at Woldenbrugge from the Wischen, which lies in the Woldenbrugker Marcke."

We read that a fee also had to be paid to the Wallenbrück church for the lands that were already in the Wallenbrücken, in the Marcke. It is quite clear that this farm, like most of the others that belong to Häger today, belonged to “Rodenhagen”, and thus the residents belonged to the Count of Ravensberg.

Until the regional reform in the early 1970s, the farm was number 3 in Häger, which is evidence of its former size.

      Further data:

1830 …. Five buildings on the farm and 150 acres of land

1852… At that time, around ten cottagers belonged to the farm

1938 entry: Häger house number 3, Heinrich Göhner farmer
