The church of Lucka is located in the middle of the city center. It was dedicated to St. Pancras.

Pancras is one of the three ice saints. According to legend, he was the son of a wealthy Phrygian from the area of Synnada and was brought to his uncle in Rome as a fourteen-year-old orphan. There he was soon beheaded for his faith under the rule of Diocletian or the Emperor Valerian.

The church of St. Pancras in Lucka was first mentioned in documents around 1396. Then again in 1429.

In 1637 the church was destroyed by fire. Due to financial difficulties, the church was initially built without a tower. This brought with it a lot of ridicule.

The tower was not built until 1891, so the current structural form of the church has existed since then.

The church's special features include a life-size alderwood crucifix from 1649 above the altar and a Kreuzbach organ.
