The Dielenpader rises at the Kleiner Domplatz. It is one of the six spring branches of the Pader. The Dielenpader is the second longest spring branch and is only surpassed by the Börnepader. In the old days, the Dielenpader flowed right past the houses. At that time, wooden footbridges were built to cross the water. This is where the name Dielenpader comes from.
