March 2024 : Coming from a smooth descent, the first part of this climb is now made of rocks (for no apparent reason other than giving a rustic feel). Very unpleasant with a touring bike, even with 45mm tyres. It suddenly stops at about 2/3 of the climb and the smooth pavement resumes for your enjoyment.
