The museum of the Atlantic Wall is housed in a 'blockhaus' that, together with three other bunkers, formed the Todt battery. This battery was the seventh largest complex built by the German army during World War II. The German artillery fired 380 mm shells at England, up to 42 km away (Dover is 32 km away). Inside there are weapon and uniform collections; outside stands a rare Krupp KS, a piece of railway artillery with a range of up to 86 km. Krupp built 25 examples in 1942.

Very nice little museum about the battery Todt. Batterie Todt, originally Siegfried, was a gun emplacement of Marine Artillery Detachment 242 at Cap Gris-Nez during World War II. She was equipped with four 38 cm naval guns with a range of up to 55.7 km. Three bunkers survived the Second World War without major damage, and the museum is located in one bunker.

Various exhibits can be seen in the museum, including a Krupp K 5 railway gun. At the entrance there is a small souvenir shop, there is also coffee here, the staff is very friendly. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by this well-done museum.
