The Oberhof is located immediately north below the outer bailey of Schweinsberg Castle (Neustadt No. 6). The Oberhof, built in the second half of the 18th century, was originally the residence of the Hermannstein branch of the Schweinsberg taverns. The building complex is a three-story main building with a solid ground floor, which has a high terrace and an outside staircase.Under the stairs are the cellar entrance and two stone bases that were previously decorated with figures. The upper floors are constructed using the structural framework of the late 18th century with a slight floor offset. The Oberhof also includes the so-called Cavaliers Building and a stable barn (also late 18th century), which lie opposite each other. The Oberhof is separated from the street by an elongated stable building and a brick wall.
