Where this pavilion now stands, there used to be the entrance to the water slide of the Aschberg outdoor swimming pool. The Aschberg outdoor swimming pool was demolished, a sports complex was built there, and this pavilion was erected on the Aschberg hill itself. Paths and trees were added, and everything was landscaped. Back when the outdoor swimming pool was there, it was just a meadow and the water slide; there were no trees there.
