Hiking
Its Staufian humped blocks indicate that it was built in the early 13th century.
Attested to as a poorhouse in 1784. In 1811 the night watchman's apartment and guard room were located here.
The tower burned down in 1853, but was restored in the same year.
Today the tower houses club rooms and a local history room.
