The late baroque hall church was built in 1752/56 based on a design by Egid Bierdimpfel. It consists of a nave, a retracted choir in the east and a facade tower in the west. The ground floor of the choir tower, in which the sacristy is now located, has been preserved from the previous building from the early 14th century. The facade tower, covered with a slate onion dome, has pilaster strips at the corners and is divided into three floors by cornices. The ground floor houses the portal, the first floor houses the tower clock and the second floor houses the belfry.

The altars and the pulpit date from the construction period. An early Gothic sacrament house is decorated with statues of Jakob van der Auwera, the father of Johann Wolfgang van der Auwera.
