At this point there is a wooden tower about five meters high with stairs and observation platform. You can mainly observe waterfowl here. You have a good view of a renatured piece of the Aare, which is called "Aare Island with Lagoon" and is a cantonal nature reserve. The tower, or rather its view, is definitely worth a short stop.
