This is a turbine watermill from 1791. The mill was shut down in the 1970s. In the 1980s, it became vacant and dilapidated. Eventually, a private owner rebuilt the site.
The turbine was only added in 1950, previously an overshot wheel was in operation, which can still be seen in the water supply.
Just before the house, a narrow path leads to a bridge over the Hermeton. This is a public servitude, which was confirmed by the court in January 1923.
