Monte Calvello is a peak of 1,579 m above sea level, located in the northeastern part of the Monti Picentini (in the province of Avellino, within the Monti Picentini Regional Park). Its summit is the meeting point of the borders of four municipalities: Lioni, Caposele, Bagnoli Irpino, and Calabritto. The mountain has always been a much-loved destination for local hiking due to its particular conformation and the panoramas it offers.
